Flames of July was born as a side/fun project in barbeque nights of summer 2004, that's why a so weird moniker to name the band.
Riccardo's metal oriented guitars and Gabriele's rock/funk bass line was in the mixand while having fun something interesting was growing up!
In late 2005 Davide joined in for drummer's duties and the project became a real Band.
Ideas turned fast into solid songs! As a result in march 2006 the first self produced demo was released.
3 songs, with classics rock elements, some touch of contamination from other styles and the liquid solos from talented guitarist Pierluigi Stasi!
From late 2006 the band is working on new songs, playing with more modern and hevier sounds.
It's been a long wait...
