Formed in Bucharest in 2005, Fly Project features the talents of singer/producer Tudor Ionescu and instrumentalist/producer Dan Denes. They debuted in 2005 with an eponymous full-length featuring the single "Raisa." Two years later, they followed up with K-Tinne. In 2008, Fly Project scored another hit with the single "Brasil," which also garnered a Romanian Music Award nomination. The duo then delivered several more well-received singles. including 2011's "Mandala," 2012's "Back in My Life," and 2013's "Toca Toca," the latter of which became a huge hit in Europe after it was included in the 2014 dance compilation Kontor House of House, Vol. 19. In 2016, Fly Project appeared on Last Night's single "Next to You" (released on their own Fly Records label), and delivered their own track, "Butterfly," featuring singer Andra. ~ Matt Collar
