Formed in March 2009 the band features the talents of four experienced Peterborough musicians united in their love of seventies Punk and the pistols and well versed in the art of creating a blistering sounding and visually exciting live performance that has already garnered them a sizeable following and mailing list.

Vocalist Sean Dunleavy has all the front, invective and bad attitude to really be Lydon, and armed to the teeth with some choice bombastic intersong

banter he’s a real charmer, hecklers - don't even fucking think about it!

Bassist Angus is a rambunctious hybrid of Glen Matlock and Sid Vicious-

possessing the formers musicality but with Sid’s volatile stage persona

he creates one half of the colourful and pugnacious rhythm section alongside Jonny P’s relentless and adamant drumming.

Every riff, lick and pickslide has been nailed with meticulous accuracy by guitarist Dan - As you would expect he uses the same Marshall amp setupand Gibson les Paul as Mr Jones.

recordings, making Filthy Lucre a tight and ferocious live band.

We are able therefore to perform 2x45 minute sets or 70 minutes straight through with lashings of encores!
