Led by singer Casper Indrizzo, Los Angeles quartet Fever the Ghost burst onto the music scene in 2013 with theatrical live performances of their trippy, glam-flavored, melodic electro-rock.
After making a fan of Wayne Coyne, the band toured in support of the Flaming Lips, as well as Morgan Delt and Sean Lennon's the Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger, before getting a proper label release of their debut EP, Crab in Honey, in September 2014. A month later, they appeared on the Flaming Lips' Beatles cover album, With a Little Help from My Fwends, joining My Morning Jacket and J Mascis on "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band." With a guest spot from the Lips' Steven Drozd, their first full-length, the madcap Zirconium Meconium, was issued in September 2015 on Complicated Game in the U.S. and Heavenly in the U.K. ~ Marcy Donelson
