While searching for new songs the musicians rely on their musical knowledge and depend on their feelings for the song. Euphorica is looking for a repertoire that can develope musicaly and in which they find the potential for their vocal and instrumental arrangements.

The medieval music in the program has its origin from different parts of Europe. In the repertoire appear Sephardic songs from Spain, Latin songs from Germany and the Czech republic, dances from France, melodies from Italy and tunes from Occitania.

Euphorica play traditional songs from Europe in the very popular "World Music" style. The songs come mainly from Macedonia, Bulgaria and Greece. Euphorica also perform tunes from the bohemian and moravian folk.Especially abroad they want to bring this Slavic folk melodies closer to an audiences that mainly hasn’t heard this music before.

Euphorica was founded in 2007. In previous years its members played in various medieval bands (Psalteria , Potentia Animi , In validus, ....) and took part in several musical projects - such as the German band Corvus Corax Cantus Buranus Show – a version of the songs from the Carmina Burana.
