      *Songs of Innocence*, Copy X. National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne, Australia. Cream morocco leather binding by Gray of Cambridge. My Mix shows all 14 prints (7 leaves) in "Copy X." It also has one leaf (now in the Fitzwilliam), printed on two sides with "The Little Black Boy": due to its size and stitching-holes, this leaf (from an early (X's?) green-ink printing run of *Innocence*), which was found in an extra-illustrated 1863 Gilchrist *Life*, is thought to have once been bound with Copy X

      *Songs of Innocence*, Copy X, on unbleached, pale cream, wove paper. National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne, Australia. Cream morocco leather binding by Gray of Cambridge. Early copies of *Innocence*, such as X, were printed on both sides of the sheet. This copy was put together with blank leaves intervening between the printed leaves: though "Infant Joy" is the verso of only the 2nd of 7 printed leaves, you see a blank recto page facing it--this is just one way of assembling a book with prints
