After studying cello at the Conservatory of Marseille and have perfected with Jean de Spengler and Thérèse Motard at the University of Montreal (Canada), Emmanuel Cremer continued there a course in composition and arrangement.
It occurs on many European stages in the collective « Emir » bassist Barre Phillips, withguitarist Raymond Boni, Joe McPhee (Terronès Blue Line of Socadisc, 2004), Jean-MarcMontera, the quartet Stanislas, Gustavo Ovalles, Méandres quintet (winner of « Jazz àPorquerolles » 2010).He was Artist in Residence at the OMI International Arts Center New York 2010. Hecollaborates with Fay Victor, Elisabeth Harnik, Carmina Escobar, Taylor Ho Binum,American pianist Denman Maroney... The year after, he plays in Mexico DF withAlexander Bruck and Wilfrido Terrazas. In Europe with Famoudou Don Moye (ArtEnsemble of Chicago), the clarinetist-vocalist Isabelle Duthoit, Tim Perkis. Is playing soloconcerts and recording « Coma » for the french label Alambik Musik.
He founded the quartet Manuchello sounding experimental jazz and rock. Then a septet ofstrings and percussion mingling his experiences as songwriter, interpret, arranger: for thetheater (theater mezzanine, Paris), film music (13 Tzameti, Mk2), Blue Note label withTroublemakers (Sofia Symphony Orchestra, album Express way, Blue Note-EMI).
He regularly performs in concert on the French stage, as well as Germany, Belgium, theUSA and Canada.
