While highly regarded in her country of origin thanks to her Independent Music Award-winning 2011 debut EP, Full Hearts & Empty Rooms, Brisbane singer/songwriter Emma Louise was largely unknown in the rest of the world until a remix of her single "Jungle" by Berlin house maven Wankelmut became a surprise smash hit in Italy in 2013, propelling her to stardom in Europe.
The single was a taster for her debut album, Vs Head vs Heart, whose decidedly original atmospheres showcased her electronica-flecked adult contemporary pop style. Her follow-up, Supercry, was produced by Pascal Gabriel (Kylie Minogue, Ladyhawke) and arrived in the summer of 2016. ~ John D. Buchanan
