Elise Estrada, born in the Philippines and raised in Canada.
This singer-songwriter, musician and actress is the first Filipino pop star to make it big in North America.Music has always been a part of Elise’s life. The former “Miss Vancouver Princess” started singing at the age of 4. Her public debut was made by winning an international singing competition in Canada, landing her a 3 month spot on the hit TV show “Pinoy Pop Superstar” TV series in Asia.

In 2007, Elise took a step back in to her home town of Vancouver, BC to continue her dream of becoming an international popstar and went on to win “The Beat 94.5 Music Awards” competition which earned her a recording and management deal with RockSTAR Music Corp., and introduced her to pop music producers Adam H, (Loverboy, Rosette, Ray J, Ne-Yo, Di’Ja, George Clinton, Li Hyori), Sean Hosein & Dane DeViller of BananaToons (Hedley, Jessica Simpson, Kelly Rowland, 98 Degrees, The Corrs), and Steve Smith & Anthony Anderson of SA Trackworks (Stacie Orrico, Laura Pausini, O-TOWN, Kumi Koda), and Grammy Award Winning Mixer, Orlando Calzada (Destiny’s Child, Kat Deluna, Jennifer Lopez)

After several months in the recording studio creating her self-titled debut album, her first single “Insatiable” was born…turning Elise into one of Canada’s biggest pop icons. Insatiable rapidly grew on the Canadian Top 40 radio charts and landed in the #1 spot. Since then, Elise has had 9 Canadian Top 10 singles in a row and has reached an audience of over 635 Million listeners to date.

In 2009 Elise was nominated for “Best R&B/Soul Album of the Year at the Juno Awards, as well as numerous other awards including “The CHUM Emerging Artist Award”, a “FACTOR Emerging Artist Award”, and a “BDS 20,000 Spins Award” for her pop ballad “UnLove You”. Elise Estrada was also nominated for two 2009 Much Music Video Awards.

Elise’s success has allowed her to tour sold out stadiums with international superstars including The Backstreet Boys, Rihanna, Nelly, 50 Cent, Sean Kingston and Lady Gaga. She had the highest rated show on MuchMusic with her very own TV series “Love Court”, a “My Date With…” MuchMusic TV special, a special feature singing roll in the CW Networks “Hellcats” TV series. Elise then moved on to make her acting debut on the big screen in the SONY Pictures Feature Film “Beverly Hills Ninja 2; Dancing Ninja” co-starring with David Hasselhoff and Lucas Grabeel (“High School Musical”, “Milk”) which is slated for a 2013 release.

In 2010 Elise went back to the recording studio to record her second album “Here Kitty Kittee”, that launched her summer hit “You’re so Hollywood” which made it into the Canadian Top 10 in just 3 weeks! Her second single “Lipstick”, a lovesick power ballad that struck hearts across the nation also rapidly reached Canadian Top 10 status.

In 2011, Elise decided to part ways with her management and record label and moved on to signing a new deal in 2012 with XOXO Entertainment Corp. She is currently in the recording studio writing and recording her 3rd album, due to be released in the spring of 2013.

In the midst of creating her new album, Elise was touched by a local story of a girl (Amanda Todd) who committed suicide because of bullying. She decided to use her fame to raise her voice and take a stand for this girl and together with her producer Adam H. wrote a pop balled called “Wonder Woman”. The song touched the hearts of many and was immediately added to radio across the nation to honor Amanda and forever inspire change in people.

Through her success, Elise Estrada has graced and inspired the hearts of many. “Being an Asian singer in North America hasn’t always been easy.
