The Los Angeles-based Electrostatic made their splash during the first days of online music, when their support from MP3.
com brought them mainstream attention from many other websites. Comprised of bassist/keyboardist Mike Thibeau, drummer/programmer Rob Gardner, and singer/songwriter Kaoru, the group began hearing their music in films and TV shows, eventually landing them a record deal with Louipimps.
