Laura Fiorica was born in Augusta, Italy, on August 13, 1987.

With a Jazz saxophonist as father and a recreational singer as mother, as a child she was already a listener of various-genres great artists as Freddy Mercury, Michael Jackson and Mariah Carey.

At the age of 7 she take part of the regional television program for singers "Birimbao" where she come within an inch of entering the National Tv program "Zecchino D'Oro".

At her tender age, already passionate about singing and poetry, she writes her first rhymes, but is only at 16 which she turns her poetries in real songs with her keyboard.

At 17 she meets the Dj Producer "Ee-sma", electronic music producer known internationally, which whom she collaborates for several years working at his "Reset" recording studio in Anzio (Rome). Here she strengthens her technical and writing competencies developing projects both with him and with members of nationally known bands like Roots in the Sky. She works, also, like session girl for various musician of that circle.

In those years she join the Saint Louis Music College of Rome and studies with the teachers Anna Maria Angelucci e Maria Grazia Fontana.

She forms her first rock band at 18 called "Reflex" and after that she takes part of "O.B.E" chill out music project, of "Father of invention" rock and roll band, of "Dogs Must Eat you" acoustic duo, of "Retro Machine" 60's 70's and 80's band, and of "Higher Funk".

In 2013, with the "Ganesh"'s guitarist Pietro Tantillo returning from an Mtv Tour, she undertakes a soloist path through the recording of her written songs. Combining her experience with the one of Pietro, who works at the Vincenzo Cavalli studio in Scordia and at the Radio Musmea studio in Augusta, they record their first italian song "Mimmi" released on Itunes with the digital label Spinnup, naming the duo "Ducii Xp".

The same year they decide to expand their experiences in Australia, where they start to establish a reputation playing on the streets of Sydney, where the two of them actually reside.

Laura Fiorica in arte Ducii nasce il 13.08.1987 ad Augusta (SR). Con il padre sassofonista Jazz e la madre cantante amatoriale, fin dalla tenera eta' ascolta artisti di spessore dei più' disparati generi musicali, come Freddy Mercury, Michael Jackson e Mariah Carey.

A soli sette anni partecipa al programma televisivo canoro regionale "Birimbao" dove arriva ad un pelo dall'ingresso al programma nazionale "Zecchino D'oro".

Alla sua tenera eta', gia' appassionata al canto ed alla poesia, scrive i suoi primi versi in rima, ma e' solo a 16 anni che trasforma le sue poesie in vere e proprie canzoni con l'aiuto sua tastiera.

A 17 anni conosce il Dj Producer "Ee-sma", produttore di musica elettronica del panorama internazionale, con il quale collabora per diversi anni lavorando all'interno del suo studio di registrazione "Reset" di Anzio (RM). Qui accresce le sue competenze tecniche e di scrittura sviluppando progetti sia con lui che con i membri di alcune band conosciute a livello nazionale come i Roots in the Sky. Lavora, inoltre, come turnista per i vari musicisti del giro.

In quegli anni si iscrive al Saint Louis Music College di Roma e studia canto pop con le docenti Anna Maria Angelucci e Maria Grazia Fontana.

Forma la sua prima band rock "Reflex" a 18 anni ed in seguito fa parte di "O.B.E.", progetto di musica elettronica chill out, della band rock & roll "Father of invention", del duo acustico "Dogs Must Eat you", dei "Retro Machine" (band anni 60', 70', 80') e degli "Higher Funk".

Nel 2013 con il chitarrista dei "Ganesh" Pietro Tantillo in ritorno dal suo tour con Mtv, intraprende un percorso da solista attraverso la registrazione di pezzi in studio. Unendo la sua esperienza con quella di Pietro, il quale lavora negli studi di Vincenzo Cavalli a Scordia e di Radio Musmea ad Augusta, registra il loro primo pezzo Italiano "Mimmi" in uscita su Itunes con l'etichetta digitale Spinnup battezzando il duo con il nome "Ducii XP".

Nello stesso anno decidono di accrescere le proprie esperienze in Australia, dove cominciano a farsi conoscere suonando per le strade di Sydney, dove i due risiedono attualmente.
