Dj Wasp was part of the first wave of DJs pioneering drum & bass onto the Belgian party scene.As part of the collective Gamorah Sound he became a leading act in the Belgian drum & bass scene in the early days of the movement. He continued his solo career after they split in 2006.

Over the past 16 years he has played under various aliases (Wasp, Primate, Undertone) at almost every major event/festival in Belgium, like Pukkelpop, Tomorrowland & Laundryday to name but a few.

His online mixes and radio shows gave him fame beyond national borders and to this day still circulate on the web. This gave him the opportunity to perform in the UK, The Netherlands, Germany, Spain, France, Israel, Poland, Canada, The United States, Romania, Denmark and The Czech Republic.

Wasp introduced the hugely popular Therapy Sessions parties in Belgium. These events paved the way for the Darkstep genre and permanently left their mark on the Belgian drum & bass scene.
