Born Tatyana Sterba in Uherske Hradiste in the former Czechoslovakia on October 7, 1976, DJ Tatana was a very successful Switzerland-based house and trance DJ.
Her work at the Street Parade in Zurich in 1998 earned her a deal to release a mix CD with Warner -- entitled Tatana The Mix Vol. 1, released in November of the same year -- and from there on out, many albums, mixes, and remixes followed. Scoring many hits in Switzerland, she wasn't quite able to crack other, more large-scale markets, but did earn critical acclaim from UK based DJ magazines. Her 2007 release, Variété, was a top twenty hit in Die Schweiz. ~ Chris True
