Born in 1982 in the heart of France, DJSE discovered mixing and producing around 1996.
He will take his first steps in hip hop, but soon he will get interested in other sounds like house music or techno, even stretching to hardcore in free parties.In 99, he flies to New Caledonia, a paradise island near Australia and New Zealand. He will become one of the key players of the local emerging hip hop movement, officiating in most big events, both for the b-boys and MC’ such as Ybal Khan, the leader of the local Rap scene. Following their musical relationship, he produced Ybal Khans album.
Along with his work for the local hip-hop culture, DJSE remained active on the electronic scene, as well as in the organisation of free underground parties in the early 2000’s, as a resident DJ in different clubs through Nouméa, New Caledonia. He also released a few mix tapes on the local market, navigating between different musical styles, according to the artist’s personality and style.
Production-wise, on top of his many Hip-Hopreleases, he worked with some local choreographers like Richard Digoué and Soufiane Karim, for whom he composed the soundtrack of 2 dance shows, mixing Hip-Hop and contemporary music, to which the diversity added to his composition skills.
Nowadays, DJSE dedicates a growing amount of time to his own production, taking his inspiration from a lot of different influences. DJSE's continues to surprise and inspire, taking people on a musical journey through electro, dubstep, trap, drum’n bass, moombahcore, trash, fidget house, glitch hop, and even dutch house. DJSE is constantly expanding his musical range, and picking up different and diverse ways to make his sound unique, for all you crazy music lovers.
