Proclaiming himself to be "Queens Best Secret," DJ L Gee put mixtapes together for underground release since the mid-'90s, with the likes of Funkmaster Flex and Boo tha Barba cited as key influences.
Some of the mixes he released during the early 2000s included Diggin' in da Crates, From My Hood 2 Your Hood, R&B Junkies, and the Juelz Santana-hosted Urban Warfare. Some of the other MCs L Gee has collaborated with include 50 Cent, Cassidy, the Game, Mobb Deep, and Sauce Money. ~ Andy Kellman
