DJ DEW has had a love for music since the age of eight when he started playing the drums which soon lead to percussion instruments. By his early teens he was DJing house parties and having DJ battles. Growing up in New York, he was exposed to different genres of music but

everything changed for him once he was introduced to House music. The sound of it, the feel of it, and watching people dance to it, and the positive vibe that the people were feeling made him crave to rock the dance floor.

After spinning for a while in New York, he moved to Florida. He soon came to the realization that he was not completely satisfied playing other people's music, so he formed the House group “Scotland Yard”. They were featured in in DMR (Dance Music Report) Magazine and they opened for acts such as: Sweet Sensation, Timmy T, and U Krew. After the group broke up, he went on to produce his first album “Bring On the Bass” by the Bolo Bros. which was followed by “Wave Nation”. A track from Wave Nation was used on the international DJ Westbam cd and other dance compilations around the world. In 2000 “Groove Nation” was founded, they were known for their club anthem “Together Again” and they performed with acts such as Robin Fox, and KromOzone Project. Several of their songs were licensed by MTV for use on the shows “Undressed” and “Damage Control”. One of his releases was on 136 dance radio stations around the U.S and DEW continue's to release great music.

Dj Dew submitted this amazing remix of "Love Song" 2 weeks ago. Dj Dew created his remix in Acid using the Stems provided on the Love Song CD-Maxi single. This month there were 17 submissions for FORD's Remixer of the Month. "Dj Dew's mix was simply brilliant." says FORD, "He took the song in a direction I never thought of."
