A native of Jackson, MS, rapper Boo dwelled in the underground for several years before signing to Clive Davis' J label and releasing 1 Life 1 Love.
Originally scheduled for a 2005 release, the album didn't come out until a full year later. He had several releases to his credit prior to the nationwide exposure, including 1999's 601 and 2003's Block 2 Block. ~ Andy Kellman
