The band formed in early 2005 with the following line-up: Antonella Catania (vocals, guitar), Claudia Caudullo (vocals, guitar), Valeria Caudullo (bass), Gaetano Ronsisvalle (drums), from the ashes of each member's musical past experiences, to create a violent mix of fatalistic sentences for mankind into solid thrash metal modern sound, dark, dramatic and psychic. After some good live performances'responses from sicilian metal scene the band began developing in songwriting, evolving to something more powerful, expressive, due to the confluence of impact, melodic cold atmospheres. In may 2007 Gaetano left the band due to different musical intentions and projects.

In september 2007 Giando Militello joined. After promotional activities, gigs and reviews of the new born first Ep "Sacrifice to Eclipse", Disaster Hate started songwriting the upcoming full lenght, recorded at Sound Empathy Studios by Fabio Monaco, Vittorio Blanco, mixed and engineered by Graziano Emanuele at Ueickap Home Studios.

In september 2011 Giando left the band and Danilo Ficicchia (drummer of the sicilian thrash metal band Nemesis) joined, forming the actual line-up. On April 2014 the first self-produced full lenght entitled "Mirroring The Abyss" sees the light and the band is commited to the promotional activity.

La band nasce all'inizio del 2005 con la seguente line-up: Antonella Catania ( voce, chitarra ), Claudia Caudullo ( voce, chitarra ), Valeria Caudullo (basso ), Gaetano Ronsisvalle (batteria), dalle ceneri delle esperienze musicali passate dei vari componenti della band, per creare un violento mix di condanne fataliste per l'umanità che confluiscono in un thrash metal moderno oscuro, drammatico e psichico. Dopo le ottime risposte della scena metal siciliana alle performance live la band ha iniziato a sviluppare il songwriting, in continua evoluzione, qualcosa di più potente, espressivo, dove impatto e atmosfere fredde melodiche si incontrano.

Nel maggio 2007, Gaetano lascia la band per seguire progetti musicali differenti e nel settembre 2007 Giando Militello prende il suo posto alla batteria. Dopo le attività promozionali, concerti e recensioni del primo EP "Sacrifice Eclipse ", Disasterhate iniziano a lavorare sul songwriting del prossimo full lenght, registrato al Sound Empathy Studios di Fabio Monaco, Vittorio Blanco, mixato da Graziano Manuele a Ueickap casa Studios.

Nel settembre 2011 Giando lascia la band e Danilo Ficicchia subentra (già nella thrash metal band siciliana Nemesis), formando l'attuale line-up.

Nel 2014, vede la luce il primo full lenght autoprodotto intitolato "Mirroring The Abyss" e la band attualmente è impegnata nella sua promozione live e stampa.
