A doom metal outfit from Lafayette, Lousiana, Devil and the Sea was the coming together of members of former bands Icepick Revival and Collapsar.
Within the first year of their existence, the band released a four track demo upon the scene and got enough of a response that Dave (guitar and vocals), Shane (drums), and Ryan (bass and vocals) were able to land a deal with Acerbic Noise Development, who were responsible for the release of Devil and the Sea's first album, Heart vs. Spine. The album was set for release in the fall of 2007. ~ Chris True
