Danish worldbeat trio Deepfried Toguma was formed in 1995 by Copenhagen-based producers Frithjof Toksvig and Martin Lind in tandem with vocalist El Dub.
Issuing their debut album Subtic a year later, the group earned the Copenhagen International Music Exposition Award; The HI-FI Companion followed in 1999. ~ Jason Ankeny
