Deep Creek Road is a country rock band based in the outer east of Melbourne, Australia.
Deep Creek Road is the musical vehicle of singers and songwriters Steve Simmons & Jaime Holland. (With a regular 5 piece live lineup)

Deep Creek Road released its debut cd, Cowboy on the Run in May of 2013. The first single ‘Here and Gone’ was written by Steve Simmons, co produced by Ricki Rae (Taxi Ride, Samantha Jade) and mastered by Grammy award winning producer Adam Ayan (Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban)

The single, Here and Gone was in national radio service for many months and received extensive airplay on over 200 radio stations, including many ‘Hit FM’ networks.

The accompanying video has received daily rotation on CMC (Country Music Channel) and charted in CMC’s top 50 for over 3 months. July and August of 2013 saw the band head to Nashville where they did extensive songwriting with local writers as well as performing in downtown Nashville with Smith Curry accompanying on Dobro (Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean)

January of 2014 saw Deep Creek Road play their first Tamworth Country Music Festival where they performed 11 shows in 9 days.

In March of 2014 the band released their second single and video 'Cowboy on the run.'

Deep Creek Road head to Nashville in may of 2014 to write and record.

As individuals having already entertained the King, Queen & Prime Minister of Malaysia and the Prince of Oman, to performing at some of Australia’s most iconic events such as The Melbourne Cup, Australian Open and AFL & Rugby Grand Final Balls, Steve Simmons & Jaime Holland hold a wealth of live experience.

Deep Creek Road is the means for Steve & Jaime to express their take on contemporary country music and hopefully, convey to the listener the energy and passion they share.
