MUSIC! for me is The amazing attitude adjustment. "Ah.....that does feel better." I always say, the only thing better than good heartfelt poetry, is good heartfelt poetry set to music. and it simply cannot be compared to any other feeling in the world. If our beautiful language, and the ability to communicate with each other were not gifts enough, enjoying the chance to further express oneself through the magic of music is enough to make one's heart soar to the greatest of heights. And that blessing also puts a fire in one's heart that can be hard to keep under control!

Once a soul has felt the connection between music and itself, it wants nothing but that. Plans and dreams begin to take shape, and grow bigger and bigger, sometimes shadowing out so many other beautiful points of focus. I have been through many stages of feelings, of growth, of dying, of laughing and crying, of learning and testing, along the way to wherever my musical mystery may take me. But at the end of the day, I am stronger, smarter, kinder, and happier at the end of each of my "dances" with music. She may be the cruel mistress some say, if allowed to be, but music fills my heart with all the things it was missing, and always, yes always, leaves me saying, "Ahh........... that's better.....
