I sing, and I play guitar, banjo, and ukuleles. I have played in numerous string bands and square/contra dance ensembles. My partner, Emily, and I perform as Border Radio.,

Vintage country, bluegrass, blues, and old-time music are my loves. I'm equally comfortable playing strictly instrumental music or accompanying songs. I play a variety of styles on my instruments--for instance, I play blues not only on guitar but on banjo and banjo-ukulele.

An interpreter in the tradition of influences like Jack Elliott, Dave Van Ronk, and Doc Watson, I provide entertainment that is energetic, varied, and respectful of its roots.
