I soon found music as a way to express my thoughts to others. I was born & raised in Los Angeles, but left back in '76 to 13 miles from a town of 2,000 in Arkansas. I was lucky to have one special friend, Tom who played flute & acoustic guitar. We went to Mardi Gras one year w/ about $60 between us, but street jammin' & sleeping in the car got us by & we had a blast. I've played in a lot of bands, but something always happened before we could take it to the next level. I moved to Florida back in '86 & ended up putting down my guitar & music for almost 20 yrs. I started again in the summer of 2005 & Spring of 2006 got me back in touch w/ my friend Tom who was recording on a computer program. I soon purchased the same program & was recording too. I have different friends playing on different songs, thus the "Dave Goff & Friends".

It's all about the lyrics w/ me. Music is a soapbox from which others hear what I have to say, so I write words of encouragement for all to strive to do their best. I hope you enjoy. Take care,
