DarkAnkh explores the Electro music with a strong visual and is inspired by classics of fantasy literature.

The band lives in an Mesmer, baroque and mystical universe. All enhanced by video clips and photos in high sensuality.

Their inspiration is clearly rooted in the universe of authors such as Charles Baudelaire, Edgar Allan Poe, Anne Rice, Dan Brown, Clive Barker, Stephen King, Dan Simmons, Hans Christian Andersen, Jacob et Wilhelm Grimm … In the world of RPGs, heroic-fantasy, cyberpunk, post-apo, angels, zombies, vampires.

The Ankh ☥, also known as key of life, the key of the Nile or crux ansata, was the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic character that read "eternal life", a triliteral sign for the consonants ʻ-n-ḫ. Egyptian gods are often portrayed carrying it by its loop, or bearing one in each hand, arms crossed over their chest. Mirrors of beaten metal were also often made in the shape of an ankh to symbolize a perceived view into another world.
