He moved to Bramhall in 1975 and took up playing piano whilst at school, and upon moving to Brisbane with his family in 1982 learned to play guitar, violin and trombone in high school for the bands and string orchestra.

After leading a varied life in the local music world throughout the 90's and 00's, Dario decided to form his own band which is mainly focused on music he grew up with, namely 70's and 80's pop and rock music as well as his own originals.

The band cites acts like The Sweet, Slade, Sparks, Mud, Suzi Quatro, Arrows, New York Dolls, Gary Glitter, David Bowie, Alice Cooper, The Runaways, Joan Jett, Queen, and some modern acts like Pink, The Darkness, and Morrissey as influences.
