His education includes: DMA, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary; MM & BM, University of NC at Greensboro; BRE, Piedmont Baptist College.

Dan realized his calling to honor God with his musical abilities at an early age. Since 1972 he has served as music minister in several churches in North Carolina and Texas. He currently serves as associate music minister at Villa Heights Baptist in Roanoke, VA.

Dan has also played piano and accordion at many restaurants and country clubs in the Triad, NC region and in Dallas, TX.

Dan and his wife Gloria were married in 1995. They have one precious daughter, Hannah, born in 1999.
