That old friend attended University of Maryland and used to keep a lot of house parties at his house in College Park with his roommates. One of his roommates was a very talented musician. After awhile he accumulated a lot of music equipment. His friend was a great musician as well. The two singers are brothers and were roommates while playing soccer and studying at Howard University and got into rock music listening to 97.1 FM in DC. So when all the band members got together we talked about having a band and then we had our first jam session and created 'the streets of babylon' and the rest is history

Everything about our band is iconic in its own way. For instance our band name is derived from a Rastafarian leader from the island of Jamaica who was given the name title Dr. Vernon Carrington after he was making and selling a very unique delicacy; COW FOOT JELLY. He went on to start the 12 tribes of Israel Rastafarian organization which is a world wide organization now. All of Jamaica's best singer and musician were members: Bob Marley, Dennis Brown, Judah Eskender, Brent Dowe and Freddie McGregor just to name a few. We listened to these artist our whole lives and they provide a lot of the inspiration for the iconic music that we write now.
