She grew up listening to Janet Jackson, Garth Brookes, Debarge, Motown Music, Run-DMC, Prince, Michael Jackson, TuPac and Biggie. Winner of numerous talent shows performing seamless renditions of Norah Jones or Alcia Keys hits. She has opened for Artists including Gucci Mane at The Dow Event Center in Sagiinaw, MI and LupeFiasco at The Toronto Conventiion Center.
