Formed in the late 2000s around the talents of Danish film score composers Asger Baden (keyboards), Louise Alenius (vocals), Peder (keyboards/producer), and Jonas Struck (guitar), Cours Lapin specialize in atmospheric, silver screen-inspired pop delivered in the French chanson tradition.
Moody, romantic, brooding, and fueled by imagery culled from a steady diet of David Lynch, Jean Pierre Jeunet, and Tim Burton films, the outfit's eponymous debut was released on Fake Diamond Records in 2010. ~ James Christopher Monger
