Corinna Jane is a Franco-British singer-songwriter born in North-Rhine Westphalia, Germany, but did most of her growing up in Northamptonshire, England and was fortunate enough to grow up speaking English, French and German.
However, fed on a diet of 90s MTV, her biggest passion has always been music. She began to play tunes by ear on the piano as a child, before taking up piano and singing lessons at the age of five and began composing when she was six and subsequently establishing herself as a singer-songwriter in her teens; crafting her own brand of piano driven alternative pop.
Since then Corinna has enjoyed airplay on various radio stations including BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio, Pulse Rated and stations in Brazil, as well as being interviewed in German and playing live on Berlin's RBB 1. She has graced the stage of New York's oldest rock club "The Bitter End" and has also toured in Germany.
Back home in the UK, Corinna has joined forces with guitarist Luke Wood and together they have played extensively across the midlands and London in venues such as The Bedford, Proud Camden, and The Alley Cat in London, The Yardbird (Birmingham) and The Musician (Leicester). The summer of 2014 will see them play festivals such as Lechlade, Lainfest, Wilkestock and Victorious Festival (headliners include Dizzee Rascall, Tom Odell and Razorlight).
In the past Corinna has worked with producers Jono Buchanan (West 4 Music: Annakin, Professor Penguin, Frank Turner, Game of Thrones) on "3 Seconds", Stuart Anning (Mission Limited Publishing/Imagem) on "I Shall Be Free" and Becky Jerams (Northstar Publishing, DWB Songs) and when she was seventeen she was invited to work with grammy award winning producer Fred Guarino in New York.
Meanwhile Corinna's song "Echoes Of My Mind" has been chosen as the official song for the brand new computer game "Standpoint" to be released in autumn 2014. This will coincide with the release of Corinna Jane's debut album that will be recorded this summer.
