The initial idea for the record was the earth becoming uninhabitable due to the machines becoming too self efficient and taking over, the record is a chronological story about preparing to leave earth, a ship Xeon Ciphious becoming famous for finding another inhabitable planet for us to take refuge and starting again, the mechanical resistance of humans, and finally the journey for humans to leave earth and see the new planet for the 1st time.
The record does have interludes and a few tracks that don't necessarily tie into the story but found their way onto the record.The process to make the songs and to transfer them onto other media was time consuming and laborious to say the least.
Painstakingly made on music and music 2000 on the play station 1, then hardwired with an audio jack from my old 5 channel television to a hi-fi so I could record onto cassette and play it back.
A few years later when studying graphic design i got an apple mac which then allowed me to record outside noise providing there was no disturbances while doing so, giving me the ability to step into the future and record onto itunes then on to disc.
With the use of myspace and digital media I was then able to upload it on here complete with the low hiss of the cassette recording.
Ive just decided to return to my page after over 5 years of inactivity and now 30 years old to see what's up and to think back to who I was then and how much things have changed since creating it in 2005.
