London threepiece Concrete Disco’s debut album Work for your Living, Play for your Life brings the raw energy of a live band to the world of electronic music.
Released as two full length albums, one side will showcase the band’s original material and guests providing vocals alongside their own. The other will be given away as a free download and will take in reworkings of their own tunes mashed up with pop and hiphop vocals. Work for your Living, Play for your Life, captures the raucous party atmosphere of their live gigs and showcases the band’s talent for making live electronic music.

Formed in 2010 the band have been honing their sound on stage and in the studio prior to the arrival of their debut album. London brothers Joe and Dom, alongside West Country born, Jonny Falls Over, have continued to play their highoctane live shows and built up a dedicated following whilst working on crystallising the energy of their performances in the studio. They

have taken their show to venues such as Glastonbury Festival, Secret Garden Party, The Nest and The Roundhouse, supporting Deadmau5, Modestep, Plump DJs, Beardyman and Zane Lowe along the way.

Combining driving drums, deep basslines and ethereal textures with crunching guitars, catchy vocals and glitchy mashups the trio have spawned the mutant offspring of Prodigy, Justice, Nirvana and Aphex Twin.

Work for your Living, Play for your Life will be available on itunes, Spotify, Bandcamp and all major download stores from 29th September 2014.
