Cleve's love for music became evident at an early age, composing his first song at age 16. He never missed an opportunity to perform at school concerts and often accompanied the Church choir on the guitar at Church services.

His musical Influences includes all the greats that went before, Cleve combines reggae's loping hypnotic rhythms with melodic tunes to create reggae music that is rhythm driven, up-tempo, yet roots. His unique phrasing and fresh attitude brings a new energy to the reggae style making his catchy lyrics easy listening and fun.

Cleve played the trombone in high school and is self taught on the guitar and piano. The album "Dance With Me" is a compilation of some of his songs written and recorded between 2001 and 2008. He wrote and arrange all the songs and played all the music on the album.
