After forming in the Spring of 2006, the modus operandi for London based four piece was to write frantic, spiky guitar pop andrelease it on their own label, Try Science Records.
In September of the same year their second single Say No Say Yeah was chosen for Zane Lowe's Fresh Meat segment on BBC Radio One and propelled them to eminence. Touring with major acts marshaled a loyal fan base whilst critically acclaimed press and additional national radio sessions raised the whisper. Momentum began to grow and the band soon found themselves regularly playing shows from Glasgow to Paris and everywhere in between. Word stretched beyond the continent and before long they were playing private shows to CEO's of major US and Japanese labels who flew in especially for the privilege.

Follow up singles were preceded and succeeded by more touring that ultimately built up to the release of their highly anticipated debut album Bright as Midnight in July 2007. The album however was greeted to a lukewarm reception. The skin-tight feel of the early single versions and the vim and vigour of the live performance was largely absent from the record. Despite this they maintained the relentless gigging with a 21 date tour of Japan after signing Bright as Midnight to Japanese independent label Lil Ballet. Circuits returned from the far East in time for the UK festival season, but mutually decided to call it a day mid tour. Cancelling all scheduled performances and drawing the curtains on their brief moment in the limelight almost a year to the day after the release of their debut album.

So what went wrong? Reflecting back, singer Benny Smith says "Bright as Midnight was not the best representation of who we were at the time. We were young and were being courted by major record labels. Somehow we found ourselves stuck between wanting to reinvent the wheel or see how fast we could spin it”.

The upcoming self titled release Circuits is a collection of the bands promising early singles that have been remixed and remastered.
