From the beginning Charlie began expressing himself with music, performing leads in his church choirs. As this was happening the music industry was rapidly changing. Hip-hop, rap and R&B music was now becoming mainstream. Creating stars like Boyz 2 men, Mariah Carey New Edition, Michael Jackson and 2pac. So a young performer Charlie became influence by these great performers and started a creative expression for himself. He wanted to write his own songs while maintaining his studies in school as he competed in track and field. In 2005 Charlie started releasing music as an artist and later on that year he would record his first single and begin social networking. Since then he has made a push in his music career creating many online videos and releasing a large amount of free music for his fans. Since 2005 Charlie has put out 13 mix-tapes, an EP, And a debut album which came out right now. currently Charlie is working on his sophomoric album that's set to come out later on this year. Locally Charlie has performed in alot of big events thew-out the Chatham Kent area. Canada Day, The Kinsmen fair, and the Cultury Factory's Indie-fest just to name a few. On Nov 29th/2012 Charlie Left Playasville to pursuit things on his own. Music runs deep in charlie's family as his grandparents, uncle's, and even his own father have performed live. Being famous or rich from music has never been important to Charlie at all. He just wants to be a role model for people and the younger generation to look out too. Charlie's Online fan base is one of the biggest in all of Southwestern Ontario.
