Born and raised in New Zealand, Chanelle Davis is an award-winning singer/songwriter who now calls Melbourne home.
A gifted multi-instrumentalist and born entertainer, she is at home on the stage andwill quickly make any size venue feel like a living room concert with your new best friend.

Chanelle has a knack for weaving together catchy melodies and simple lyrics, and can express the light and darkness of the human heart like the great singer/songwriters that have gone before her. She reigns queen of the sing-along, and audiences won’t get away without joining in for the crowd favourite 'I Don’t Know Where I’d Be Without You'.

Chanelle has released two albums in her homeland – 'Better Than Alone' and 'Since Yesterday', which features 'Dear Jon' – winner of the 2007 NZ Songwriters Trust Award. And if you dig around, you might uncover her indie Christmas Album 'A Little Something' made with singer/songwriter Daniel Munro.

Her first release since moving to Melbourne 'Just The Way I Found You' is a small collection of indie/country songs that break away from her usual girl-meets-piano sound. Her signature well-crafted lyrics and smooth effortless vocals shine through, creating an intimate and familiar - yet fresh tone.

Chanelle has performed across NZ, Canada and America, and studied in Boston with author of 'Writing Better Lyrics', Pat Pattison. Her writing was published in his latest book 'Songwriting Without Boundaries'.

2013 will see Chanelle rehearsing with her band of handsome Melburnian lads and working towards a third full length album along with a string of Australian summer shows.
