Two of her top selling books titled 'Luxe Knits' are sold on Amazon and in Barnes and Nobles. As a semi- finalist of the Hasselblad Master's Competition she received an honor in outstanding creative and technical achievement in the field of photography.

In addition to her career as a beauty and fashion photographer she is also a filmmaker and video director. Her directorial music video debut won the MTV competition 'Freshmen' and was placed in a worldwide rotation.

Westergaard's work is continuously evolving while she consistently challenges boundaries with her creative vision which brought her opportunities to work with advertising clients, prestigious fashion magazines, celebrities, record labels, and publishing companies throughout the U.S and Europe.
