She starting her career in the West End at the tender age of 11 and in 2004 aged only 16 she auditioned for ITV's The X Factor and subsequently went on to appear on the live shows. Following her success on the show as the last remaining female in her category she went on to appear as a solo artist on the UK Live arena tour and to perform as a soloist at venues such as The Royal Albert Hall and Sadlers Wells and Ronnie Scotts.

Since then she has gone on to appear in West End shows such as The Secret Garden, Les Miserables, Dirty Dancing, WICKED. With TV apprearnces on popular shows such as Casualty, Big Train, Murder Rooms, Call the Midwife and Mr. Selfridge.

In 2012 Cassie took her one woman show to Lauderdale House, London- 'Celebrating the greatest female singer/songwriters of all time'.
