From a young age, she was drawn to country music specifically because the songs always told stories.She picked up the guitar at age 13, learned 3 chords (and the truth!) from her Step-dad and took off from there. She was always looking for that ONE perfect song, or that ONE perfect lyric to describe exactly what she was going through. She quickly realized that instead of searching for these lyrics, she could write them herself.

Since that moment of realization, she has written over 150 of her own songs, with subject matter about heartbreak, love, revenge, and everything in-between. Her favorite feeling in the world is being on stage, bright lights hitting her shoulders, strumming her guitar and expressing herself through music.

She has been given the nicknames Sass and Sassafrass - and for good reason! Known for her tell-all, sassy songs, you can learn everything about what she went through by listening to her lyrics. With lines like, "you can't hide cheap in a floor length dress", you can't help but sing along.
