In 2003 the Dead Dirty Carnies was formed consisting of three members (Corpse Collector, Killa Klown, & Doc Da Dead) & over the next few years the roster would change multiple times & include a fourth member (RedRum) before the group finally made it's appearance on the underground rap scene.
In October 2006 the group debuted their first single to the public featuring the two member roster that it still maintains to this day. The single "Bury Your Problemz" followed up a campaign of free singles dropped at the groups official website (www.deadndirty.com) & was used to push the debut album from the label which they created (Dead N Dirty Produktionz) set to drop on Halloween. On October 31st, 2006 the Dead Dirty Carnies teamed with fellow label mates (RedRum & DBA) to release the EP "Day Of The Dead" for free on their website. The album was produced by the labels only producer (Grim Mileau) & an Orlando, FL based producer (OsIIruS) & was completely put together by the members of the label. In only a few short weeks the debut album moved several thousand copies & the group even gained some radio play on WFuckOff Radio (Owned & operated by Psychopathic Records) during the debut show of comedian Upchuck The Clown.
In 2007 the group would return making appearances on artist (RedRum)'s debut LP "Rephlektionz" being featured on individual solo tracks & a group collaboration on the single "We Be Wicked" & also helped package the album & release it for free. Just a short month later they would re-appear on fellow artist (DBA)'s debut EP "The Five Leaf Belief" which was also wrote by Corpse Collector & released for free. Upon the 1 year anniversary of the labels debut release (Dead N Dirty Produktionz) would return with three releases on October 31st, 2007. The second compilation EP "A Dead N Dirty Halloween" featured new songs from all artists on the label. Artist (DBA) released his second EP "HighOnWeed" which also would feature Dead Dirty Carnies. The Dead Dirty Carnies also released their debut EP "Open Casket" & all three releases were available for free download on the labels website. In less then a week all three albums moved over 1,000 copies. The label had signed two new artists (Blakmail & Forty Water) who appeared on the "A Dead N Dirty Halloween" compilation. In November (Forty Water) released his debut EP "Drunk N Dizorderly) which featured appearances from (Dead Dirty Carnies, DBA, RedRum, & Blakmail) & the first music video (The 606 ft RedRum, DDC, & DBA) would accompany it. The label released multiple singles before the year would end & begin promotions for the next release from new artist Blakmail.
2008 began with the release of artist (Blakmail)'s debut LP "Declared Dead" dropping in February. The Dead Dirty Carnies would appear on the album along with (DBA & Forty Water) & Corpse Collector appeared as a solo artist again. In April artist (DBA) released his 3rd EP "420" which also featured (Blakmail & Dead Dirty Carnies) & in May artist (Forty) released his 2nd EP "The Southern Trail" which was littered with appearances from Corpse Collector. This was the 10th album the label had released. All of which were released for free & included all of the artwork. However, things quickly changed & after only a few short weeks of being released the new album vanished from the website along with both (Forty & Blakmail) but the label continued onward.
In August, Dead Dirty Carnies would release their highly anticipated LP "Back From The Dead" & simultaneously appear on artist (Str8Jaket)'s LP "Nuclear Sunshine" both of which had been the source a vicious promotional campaign which had ran all summer. The new LP showed an evolved Dead Dirty Carnies & with (Str8Jaket) mixing & mastering the album the group had finally found the sound they had been seeking. The album was also the first release in the label's catalog which featured guests from outside the label. The album featured appearances from (Str8Jaket) as well as former Psychopathic Records artist (Project Born) & former Hatchet House artist & HoK member (The R.O.C.) & also included production from long time Twiztid producer (Fritz The Cat) & producer (Stir Crazy) who has done work with many well known entities on the underground music scene.
The group would take to the stage for the first time with (Str8Jaket) at the 2008 (Gathering Of The Juggalos) & began 2009 playing shows in various locations with (Project Born, Critical Bill, Marz, Scatterman & Snug-brim, Esham, Mastamind, & more) before finally appearing on another album. Fellow artist (DBA) returned to release his first LP "Smokers Section" which would also feature (Dead Dirty Carnies & Str8Jaket) & a few months later (Str8Jaket) would sign to the label along with former DDC member (Doc Da Dead) who released his debut single "Bitch Nigga" which featured Corpse Collector. Str8Jaket released a compilation album which featured singles from (Dead Dirty Carnies, Corpse Collector, Shoestring of The Dayton Family, 2Dirte, & many more) & the label began a campaign for the new Dead Dirty Carnies album. Once the 4th anniversary of the labels debut arrived the label released the largest Halloween compilation yet "Another Dead N Dirty Halloween" EP & featured new tracks from the entire label & outside appearances from (2Dirte & Worm) & officially prepared for the release of the third Dead Dirty Carnies album.
The year had brought many more concerts from Dead Dirty Carnies. The group returned to play the 10th Annual (Gathering Of The Juggalos) & also opened multiple times on (Insane Clown Posse)'s "Bang! Pow! Boom!" Tour which also featured (Hed PE & The Dayton Family) & the DDC also played select shows with Psychopathic Records artist (Anybody Killa) as well as Hatchet House artist (Motown Rage) including The Rude Boy's first annual (Detroit New Years Ass Kicking) which also accompanied the Ghoztz Of The Underground's third album release. The new album "Nightmarez" was unlike anything ever conceived through out the history of music. The group told no details & kept the world in the dark on everything. The album also consisted of multiple tracks depicting wretched nightmares & telling a story in a truly unique way, The idea was that they would force to world to "wake up" & stop sleeping on the group. The album featured former Psychopathic Records artist (Myzery) as well as (Frank Nitty Of Project Born) & the hard copy included a new track featuring (The R.O.C. & Str8Jaket) however it would also be the last album released by Dead Dirty Carnies.
While the DDC has not released a new project since "Nightmarez" the group has continued to haunt the underground. They returned to the stage to perform with the likes of (Twiztid, Boondox, Drive-By aka Blaze Ya Dead Homie & Anybody Killa, Wolfpac, DJ Clay, & Mr. Y.U.G.) & have also appeared on the "SNAPT" LP of former artist (Str8Jaket) as well as fellow artist DBA's 2011 release "The Re-Up" EP. Honoring the anniversary of their original debut the label has continued to release Halloween compilation albums annually with a new series called "The Goody Bag" which feature 3 volumes & tracks from (Dead Dirty Carnies, Doc Da Dead, DBA, Str8Jaket, Abrakadabra, & Mr. Y.U.G.)
In 2011 DDC member Corpse Collector released his first solo album entitled "Self-Titled" & introduced the first track from long time side project "Dead Thugz" as a bonus track on the album. Corpse Collector also introduced yet another side alias appearing as "Rez-N" on side project "WeedHeadz" member "Big Kola"s second solo EP "Still Smokin"
Here in 2013 which has been coined as "The Year Of The Dead" there has been speculation to the end of the hiatus of the group. However, the current focus of Dead N Dirty Produktionz has been promotion for the follow up EP from Corpse Collector. The long awaited release of "Rough Draft" is on the horizon & the dead army is on it's toe's in anticipation. Much like all of the label's many releases, "Rough Draft" is slated to be released for free on www.deadndirty.com & will continue to carry on the legacy of Dead Dirty Carnies.
