Argentinean heavy metal foursome Cabezones was formed in 1994, soon, recording the band's first album Electroshock, released by independent Pinhead Records, which was followed by a tour around the country.
After participating in a compilation with "Promesas" and "Buscando Una Salida," Cabezones recorded Hijos De Una Nueva Tierra, issued by local label Mentes Abiertas in 1997. Two years later, the group signed up to Sony Music, making 2000's Alas, produced by former Soda Stereo Zeta Bosio. That same year, Cabezones opened for Iron Maiden, Rob Halford, and Queens of the Stone Age at a major rock event in Buenos Aires. ~ Drago Bonacich
