With thirteen years in the game, duo C4 are seasoned veterans of the Midwest rap scene—but they’re not stopping until the world knows their name.
Core members Darin and Tizzle started their journey in Fargo, but even after growing a loyal base of supporters and fans, the pair proved too restless for North Dakota life. Relocating to the Twin Cities gave these two gifted lyricists a shot at bigger stages and brighter spotlights, allowing them to shape raw talent into an explosive stage presence.
C4 have a rare ability to shift instantly from suave lovers (“Red Roses”) to dollar-stacking businessmen (“Blow My High”) to scene-stealing party crashers (“Hella Hpnotiq”), and they ride each massive, regal beat with personal styles that fit flawlessly together. While Tizzle has a nimble flow that skates effortlessly over each track, partner Darin’s sense of rhythm bends syllables around booming bass drums, giving his lyrics force and depth. It’s a formidable mix that’s been strengthened by years of performing alongside one another, but Darin and Tizzle still manage to push their skills to new limits with each release.
From early mixtapes “Preseason,” “Blood Brothers,” and “Prototype” to recent album “Let the Hate Begin,” each collection has raised the bar for its successor. Now, on the verge of releasing “The Countdown,” Darin and Tizzle are proving yet again that their climb to the top will continue unabated. Having shared a stage with 112’s Slim, Juvinile, Twista, and Mystikal, C4 are getting noticed on a grand scale—and with “The Countdown” on deck, their fans are getting ready for the pair to pick up even more attention.
Get on board, or get blown up.
