Being born in California and beginning his adolescent years in Los Angeles gave him his foundation and helped shape his musical prowess, then he made a transition to VA with his family which opened his mentality to a new environment but the west coast essence was and would be forever cemented. During his high school years Kay'O began his musical endeavors playing the sax in the schools symphonic band & the all state band. It was during this time that he knew he wanted to pursue a career in music. He decided to purchase his first mixer and the rest will be documented in a Behind The Music Docu film.

Kay'Os philosophy is one that is structured under true commitment, dedication to an unwavering work ethic and a passion for the craft.
