Such as Blu-note born in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Blu's music is raw uncut and told like it is, like in one song, "Keep It 360". Blu started rapping in 1995 at age 12, but decided to make a career of it at age 15 in 1998. Music provided both inspiration and salvation for Blu. Blu moved to Atlanta, Ga in 2002. Since then Blu has been making his mark performing all over Georgia. In 2003 Blu was the opening act for B.G. in Augusta, for the Georgia May Fest. From 2003 to currently, Blu has performed in Athens, Lake Charles, Houston, Monroeville, A.L., Eatonton Georgia, New Orleans and all over Atlanta. Blu has been influenced by some of the greatest like Z-RO, UGK, Scareface, Eightball and MJG, Too Short, Soljia Slim, Juvenile, B.G, Outkast and Goodie Mob. Blu is currently a part of an organization called N.A.M, (North Atlanta Movement). N.A.M Members support each other as they strive to make it to the top and show case everyones talents. Blu is currently promoting three singles, "Big Knots," "AWESOME," and "She's Hot." These songs best describe his experiences and are a good example of what to expect on his upcoming album. In addition to being in the process of working on his first album, Blu is also an artist featured on a new N.A.M mix cd. Since the age of 12 Blu has been raping working towards becoming a success in his chosen field. He has no doubt that with hard work he will make it to the top, he does not want to take any short cuts. Blu feels that the lord blessed him with this talent for a reason, so he puts in one hundred percent and does it big, like his mom tells him all the time. Blu's ultimate goal is to touch everyone with his music and sit back and continue taking care of his main motivation, his two kids. Blu- Note wants to be remembered as a young entrepreneur that had faith in god and always kept it real.
