Before that, Chris was front man for an original 80's sounding rock and roll outfit in the 90's called "Cinema", which was located in Buena Park, CA. Chris's Stage name in this band was "Mr. E." They played the local circuit in Orange County for 5 years before they disbanded.
In-between the times he wasn't singing for a band, Chris played drums for 2 punk bands in the late 90’s into the new millennium. In 1996 He joined "The Cajun Punk Daddys" where the singer of the "Radioactive Chickenheads" who was the punk daddies accordion player asked Chris to drum for "Joe and the Chickenheads". Chris jammed the Hollywood Strip in L.A. and the punk venues in Long Beach till he decided to quit the band in pursuit of his full time band "Shwag" as lead vocals. Shwag had a good run, but was disbanded a few years before he moved to the sunny state of Florida.
Chris released his newest rock and roll single, entitled “Free” on the Chinese New Year 2012 Year of the Dragon. This was recorded In Sarasota, FL at Stellar Studios. It was a solo project he funded himself.
"I started playing drums at 10 and started writing original songs on the uke and piano around 16 and beyond. I have written well over 50 songs of my own not to mention dozens of others in collaboration with former band mates. I'll be doing music til I die, whether I ever make any money at it or not, writing and performing my own material is what I love to do" -Chris
Since September of 2012, Chris has been working with a doom metal band in Tampa, FL. All the members have jobs and family, so the work is arduous and slow. If they can pull this off, you will be hearing them live at your local venues!
"Wishing you all fortune and fun in your musical journey!" -Mr. E
