Combining elements of heartland, American trad rock, and alternative rock, Bliss 66 molds a healthy cast similar to the likes of Matchbox Twenty and Train.
This six-piece, which is composed of friendships made in a church youth group during high school, hails from Taylor, MI, and has been making a name for themselves prior to graduating from secondary school. Musically, Bliss 66 is passionate. It's a raw emotion found few and far between rock acts in the new millennium. The band, which is made of Cheyenne Goff (vocals), Aaron Schossau (guitar), Jordan Barnett (keyboards/vocals), Bob Cook (drums), Rob Harbin (guitar/vocals), and Don Patty (bass) achieved their rock & roll dreams when they signed to Epic in mid-2000. Shortly thereafter, their song "Not Quite Paradise was chosen by producer Glen Ballard (Alanis Morrisette, Dave Matthews Band) for the soundtrack to sci-fi film Titan A.E. Ballard also produced their debut, Trip to the 13th, which was issued in June 2001. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
