Our Guitarist has won numerous worldwide awards for being one of the fastest guitarist in the world and yet still maintains nice melodic leads with lots of hook. His last award was in 2012 on The Guitar Wizards CD along with the guitarist from Ozzy, Dio, Megadeth, Metal Church, George Lynch, Whitesnake, Guns n' Rose, Kiss, Aerosmith, Thin Lizzy and more. Blake's song "Sanctuary" is the only song on the CD that is an ALL ORIGINAL SONG. Lastly; regarding Blake; he is playing all Guitars, Bass, Drums & Lead Vocals (w/Arminta Vox) on the upcoming album entitled "13th Hour".

The band boasts experienced stalwarts of the Goth Metal scene, including band founder Blakenstein-Blake Nelson (formerly of Oil w/Ron Rinehart of Dark Angel; Oil sold over a million records worldwide). Blakenstein-Blake Nelson is also the Composer, Music Director, Lyricist, and Visionary of Blakenstein.

Lead Vocalist Arminta Vox (accomplished folk performer); is a highly trained Vocalist from the folk music genre and has performed live at festivals in excess of 80,000 people. This is Armintas 1st band as a Metal singer and she is killing it and has created a new fresh style of Female vocals in metal. Arminta is sort of opposite of the Amy Lee Soprano type vocalist & all the other female singers. Although she has her own signature style; Arminta is a combination of Dio, Annie Lennox, and Amaranthe.

Blakenstein also features a very "different" sort of band member. Our "Story Teller", A Teller of Tales is he. From the land of Shadow Brook with the appearance of a skeleton from hence path; we have "Dead McMaim" Kevin Horton. The band does not speak on stage. When Blakenstein isn't delivering the shred. Dead McMaim tells his tales which sets up the following song. And "Dead" can appear anywhere; on the stage, in the audience, inside of a picture or among the managerie of props.

Also adding to our visual performance are our Team Members. "The Grace of Bondage" which appear as a 10' Tall Necromancer Clown with Sexy Human Female Zombie Puppets on strings, a contortionist, clowns, henchman and everything in between. A True visual Feast.
