From 2004 to 2008 the five piece female fronted hard rock / metal band Blackwater Prophecy found itself featured on MySpace and being invited to play local Hollywood venues like the Whiskey A Go Go thanks to their dynamic presence and music.
The band went on hiatus in 2008 finally deciding to split due to geographic differences only to reunite in 2009. But it was not until Syren Franco, the front woman of the group took the lead and solidified the band now headquartered in Anaheim, CA that the band officially emerged from the cocoon to take the world by storm. Their performance features the sultry melodic vocal harmonies and poetic lyrics of Syren Franco, the lead and riffs of both Chava Crow and Jake Lerch, the rhythmic heartbeat of Tyler Caldwell on drums, and the driving vibrations of Derek Schultz on bass.Blackwater Prophecy has a 3rd Album in the works to be titled "The Journey", with their previous albums Echoes and The Meridian Hour available on iTunes in late June and to be on rotation on Pandora and various indie radio stations in Southern California.
