A member of Greensboro, North Carolina's Cream Team, rapper Blac Boi was born in New York City.
He moved south after his teens, hooking up with rapper Young Cee and forming the Cream Team with B-Elz, the artist who later became 2 Chainz's official DJ. Blac Boi left the group after its hit single "Gotta Stay Fresh," and launched his solo career with the Product of My City series of mixtapes. Product of My City 2 landed in 2015 along with the single "Back to the Money," featuring Tigo B. ~ David Jeffries
